Amtavla: Sub Vocal Recognition Project Luka Rekhviashvili, Giorgi Rurua |
Amtavla is a research project building the next frontier in human-computer interaction. Throughout history, technology has moved progressively closer to the human body — yet we remain separated from computing power by the bottleneck of physical input. Amtavla addresses this by developing a Sub-vocal Recognition (SVR) system that decodes the electrical signals sent from the brain to the articulatory muscles during silent speech, translating biological intention directly into digital action — no sound, no movement, no friction.
Our mission is to build the most accurate SVR model ever developed and embed it within a wearable, everyday interface that disappears into ordinary life. Beyond simple word recognition, we are engineering a full Silent Speech Interface that enables continuous, natural interaction with intelligent systems — one where the machine acts as a seamless extension of cognition rather than a passive tool. Grounded in neuroscience, machine learning, and a deep commitment to human agency, Amtavla is building toward a future where thinking and computing become one.
